Data & Account Deletion

You can delete your data or your entire Bald Dude Apps account whenever you want. Here’s how, what gets removed, and how long it takes.
1.Delete from within the app
The simplest path is in the app itself:
- Rendered: go to Settings → Account → Delete account, or delete individual recipes and cooks directly.
- WildNest: go to the profile / Nest Keeper settings → Account → Delete account. An account admin manages deletion for the household.
2.Request deletion by email
You can also email support@balddudeapps.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete your data or account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.
3.One account, two apps
Because Rendered and WildNest share a single sign-in, you can:
- Delete your data in one app (for example, remove everything in Rendered) while keeping your account and your other app, or
- Delete your entire Bald Dude Apps account, which removes your sign-in and your data across both apps.
For your protection, deleting your data in each app you use is handled before your shared account itself is removed.
4.What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes your profile and the content tied to your account — recipes, cook logs, photos, lists, schedules, messages, and household data you control. Once deleted, this data can’t be recovered.
5.What we may keep, and for how long
We may retain limited information after deletion where we’re required to (for example, records needed for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes), and residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before they’re overwritten. We aim to complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request.
